7 word "issues." the following: "The objective of the
8 study shall be to evaluate the viability of
9 establishing the state of Iowa as a distance learning
10 center. The study shall identify distance learning
11 technology opportunities between interested agencies
12 and entities involved in or potentially involved in
13 distance learning activities, including but not
14 limited to K-12 schools, area education agencies,
15 institutions of higher learning, the public
16 broadcasting division of the department of education,
17 the department of education, the Iowa communications
18 network, the information technology department, and
19 military and private sector institutions or
20 agencies.""

Amendment H-1899 was adopted.

On motion by Jenkins of Black Hawk the House concurred in the
Senate amendment H-1810, as amended.

Jenkins of Black Hawk moved that the bill, as amended by the
Senate, further amended and concurred in by the House, be read a
last time now and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed
and the bill was read a last time.
