The Speaker announced that Senate File 203, previously referred
to committee on education was rereferred to committee on
appropriations.
SENATE FILE 474 REREFERRED
The Speaker announced that Senate File 474, previously referred
to committee on judiciary was rereferred to committee on local
government.
EXPLANATIONS OF VOTE
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 28,
2001. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House Files
566 and 655.
CARROLL of Poweshiek
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 27,
2001. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on House File
662.
HANSEN of Pottawattamie
I was necessarily absent from the House chamber on March 27,
2001. Had I been present, I would have voted "aye" on Senate Files
146, 509, amendments H-1251 and H-1310B to House File 304,
amendment H-1327 to Senate File 66 and "nay" on House File 304
and Senate File 66.

A communication was received from the Governor announcing that
on March 28, 2001, he approved and transmitted to the Secretary of
State the following bills:
House File 327, an act relating to the criminal offenses of enticing a minor away
and sexual exploitation of a minor and providing a penalty.
