Iowa's sound economy fund for brownfield sites.
Read first time and referred to committee on transportation.
House File 415, by Horbach, a bill for an act relating to
reallocating personnel by the commissioner of public safety.
Read first time and referred to committee on judiciary.
House File 416, by committee on ways and means, a bill for an
act updating the Iowa Code references to the Internal Revenue Code,
increasing the minimum filing income requirement for dependents,
lowering the threshold amount for making estimated payments for
corporations and financial institutions, increasing the estimated tax
payment standard for assessing a penalty for corporations and
financial institutions, and providing retroactive applicability dates
and an effective date.

CONSIDERATION OF BILLS
Regular Calendar
House File 293, a bill for an act relating to the duties of the board
of directors of a school district prior to a regular school election, was
taken up for consideration.
Finch of Story moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
