Prayer was offered by Reverend Daniel Parsch, pastor of Gloria
Dei Lutheran Church, Urbandale.

The Journal of Friday, January 14, 2000 was approved.

INTRODUCTION OF BILLS

House File 2052, by Schrader, a bill for an act to permit a school
district or area education agency to use state school improvement
technology funds to employ computer technical support personnel.

House File 2053, by Alons, a bill for an act concerning the
maximum unemployment compensation contribution rate percentage
applied to certain smaller employers.

Read first time and referred to committee on labor and
industrial relations.
