The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
have passed the House and the title was agreed to.
House File 2506, a bill for an act relating to the provision of
police protection in cities having a population of less than one
thousand two hundred, was taken up for consideration.
Carroll of Poweshiek asked and received unanimous consent to
withdraw amendment H-8166 filed by him on March 2, 2000.
Gipp of Winneshiek in the chair at 11:40 a.m.
Carroll of Poweshiek moved that the bill be read a last time now
and placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was
read a last time.
