  1  1    Section 1.  NEW SECTION.  364.25  POLICE PROTECTION –
  1  2 CITIES UNDER ONE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED POPULATION.
  1  3    A city having a population of less than one thousand two
  1  4 hundred may provide or discontinue police protection within
  1  5 its jurisdiction or may provide for police protection by
  1  6 intergovernmental agreement.  
  1  7                           EXPLANATION
  1  8    This bill provides that a city having a population of less
  1  9 than 1,200 may discontinue police protection or may provide
  1 10 for police protection by intergovernmental agreement.
