Ford of Polk offered amendment H-8105 filed by him as follows:

H-8105

1 Amend House File 2471 as follows:
2 1. Page, 1, by inserting after line 17 the
3 following:
4 "(6) Results of school district efforts to
5 eliminate educational inequities in student
6 performance among Iowa's minority students as
7 identified in district goals and plans under section
8 280.18 and results of school district efforts to
9 enhance interaction among students of culturally
10 diverse backgrounds."

Ford of Polk offered the following amendment H-8188, to
amendment H-8105, filed by him and moved its adoption:

H-8188

1 Amend the amendment, H-8105, to House File 2471, as
2 follows:
3 1. Page 1, by striking lines 8 through 10 and
4 inserting the following: "280.18.""

Amendment H-8188 was adopted.

Ford of Polk moved the adoption of amendment H-8105, as
amended.

Amendment H-8105, as amended, was adopted.

Shey of Linn moved that the bill be read a last time now and
placed upon its passage which motion prevailed and the bill was read
a last time.
