House Journal: Page 1027: Monday, April 5, 1999

	Representative Hoffman of Crawford presented to the House, 

Virgie Henningsen, teacher at Denison school.
The House stood at ease at 1:25 p.m., until the fall of the gavel.
The House resumed session at 3:55 p.m., Speaker Corbett in the 
chair.
QUORUM CALL
A non-record roll call was requested to determine that a quorum 
was present.  The vote revealed seventy-four members present, 
twenty-six absent.
MESSAGES FROM THE SENATE
The following messages were received from the Senate:
Mr. Speaker: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the Senate has on 
April 5, 1999, passed the following bill in which the concurrence of the Senate was 
asked:
House File 38, a bill for an act eliminating references to an obsolete federal 
requirement relating to the attachment of an adoption information form to an adoption 
petition and decree. 
Also: That the Senate has on April 5, 1999, passed the following bill in which the 
concurrence of the Senate was asked:
House File 403, a bill for an act relating to the fingerprinting of persons or juveniles 
who have been arrested or taken into custody and changing the procedures for the 
collection of a criminal disposition report.

House File 515, a bill for an act relating to the duties of a 
guardian ad litem appointed to represent a child in juvenile court
