COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATIONS MR. SPEAKER: The Chief Clerk of the House respectfully reports that the following committee recommendations have been received and are on file in the office of the Chief Clerk. ELIZABETH A. ISAACSON Chief Clerk of the House COMMITTEE ON APPROPRIATIONS Senate File 283, a bill for an act appropriating federal funds made available from federal block grants and other federal grants, allocating portions of federal block grants, and providing procedures if federal funds are more or less than anticipated or if federal block grants are more or less than anticipated. Fiscal Note is not required. Recommended Do Pass March 15, 1999. COMMITTEE ON COMMERCE AND REGULATION Committee Bill (Formerly House Study Bill 218), relating to the restructuring of the electric utility industry by providing for consumer choice for certain electric services, providing penalties, and providing an effective date. Fiscal Note is not required. Recommended Amend and Do Pass March 12, 1999. COMMITTEE ON LOCAL GOVERNMENT House File 112, a bill for an act relating to the provision of municipal services to annexed territory and providing for the Act's applicability. Fiscal Note is not required. Recommended Amend and Do Pass with amendment H-1094 March 11, 1999. House File 503, a bill for an act relating to the liability of volunteer fire departments for penalties for occupational safety and health violations. Fiscal Note is not required. Recommended Do Pass March 11, 1999. House File 537, a bill for an act relating to residency requirements for certain city employees. Fiscal Note is not required.
