27     A call of the house shall specify the propositions
28  to which it is to apply, and must be put into effect
29  before roll call is taken on the proposition.  The
30  request may be filed at any time before final action

 1  upon the propositions with the chief clerk, who shall
 2  notify the house immediately.
 3                               Rule 78
 4                Method of Calling the House
 5     Upon a call of the house, the names of the members
 6  shall be called by the chief clerk and the absentees
 7  noted, after which the names of the absentees shall
 8  again be called.  The sergeant-at-arms shall be
 9  directed by the speaker to compel the attendance of
10  absent members, unless they are previously excused.
11  Any member occupying the member's seat during a call
12  of the house shall be counted by the speaker and that
13  person's name entered in the journal as being present
14  for the purpose of making a quorum.
15                               Rule 79
16                Method of Calling the Roll
17     The electrical voting machine shall be used for a
18  call of the house, a quorum call or a roll call vote
19  on any question.  If the electrical voting machine is
20  not in operating order when it is necessary to take a
21  record roll call vote, the presiding officer shall
22  order the vote to be taken by calling the roll in
23  alphabetical order, except the name of the presiding
24  officer shall be called last.
25     During the casting of the vote with the voting
26  machine, the individual votes and the vote totals
27  shall be shown on the display boards.  Before the
28  voting machine is closed, the presiding officer shall
29  inquire of the house, "Have you all voted?"

 1             Quorum and Record Roll Call Votes
 2     A majority of the members shall constitute a
 3  quorum.
 4     A record roll call vote shall be ordered upon
 5  request of any two members.  The names of the members
 6  requesting the record roll call shall be entered in
 7  the journal.
 8                             Rule 81
 9                     Previous Question
10     When a member moves for a previous question, that
11  member shall state whether the motion will apply to
12  the main question, to all the amendments, or to
13  particular amendments.  The motion requires an
