  Amendment S-5313 was adopted.

  Senator Iverson moved the adoption of amendment S-5259.

  Amendment S-5259 was adopted by a voice vote.

  With the adoption of amendment S-5259, the Chair ruled
  amendment S-5261 filed by Senators Black and Rehberg on March 17,
  1998, to page 1 of the bill, and amendment S-5294 filed by Senator
  Hedge on March 23, 1998, to page 1 of the bill, out of order.

  Senator Maddox moved that the bill be read the last time now and
  placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and
  the bill was read the last time.

  On the question "Shall the bill pass?" (S.F. 2284), the vote was:
