  On motion of Senator King, House File 2400, a bill for an act
  providing a procedure for the preservation of a mechanic's lien for
  materials or labor furnished to a subcontractor and providing for
  related matters, with report of committee recommending passage,
  placed on the Unfinished Business Calendar on March 26, 1998, was
  taken up for consideration.

  Senator King offered amendment S-5501, filed by him on April 6,
  1998, to page 2 of the bill.
