  RECESS

  On motion of Senator Iverson, the Senate recessed at 4:42 p.m.,
  until 5:00 p.m.

  RECONVENED

  The Senate reconvened at 5:21 p.m., President Kramer presiding.

  QUORUM CALL

  Senator Bartz requested a non record roll call to determine that a
  quorum was present.

  The vote revealed 47 present, 3 absent and a quorum present.

  CONSIDERATION OF BILL
  (Regular Calendar)

  Senate File 361

  On motion of Senator Lind, Senate File 361, a bill for an act
  relating to the state workers' compensation coverage for students
  participating in school-to-work programs and providing for related
  matters, was taken up for consideration.

  Senator Lind offered amendment S-3162 filed by him from the
  floor to pages 2 and 3 of the bill and moved its adoption.

  Amendment S-3162 was adopted by a voice vote.

  Senate Lind asked and received unanimous consent that Senate
  File 361 be referred to the committee on Business and Labor.

  BUSINESS PENDING

  Senate File 221

  The Senate resumed consideration of Senate File 221, a bill for an
  act providing for the termination of farm tenancies, previously
  deferred (amendment S-3116 pending).
