         On the question Shall the motion to reconsider be adopted? (H.F.
    2421) the vote was:

    express a conflict of interest, was invoked.

         The motion prevailed and amendment S-5761 by Senators Douglas, et
    al., to amendment S-5700, was taken up for reconsideration.

         Senator Douglas moved the adoption of amendment S-5761 to amendment
    S-5700.

         A non record roll call was requested.

         The ayes were 26, nays 23.

         Amendment S-5761 was adopted.

         Senator Iverson filed the following motion to reconsider from the
    floor and moved its adoption:

         MR. PRESIDENT: I move to reconsider the vote by which amendment
    S-5768 to amendment S-5700 to House File 2421 failed to be adopted by
    the Senate on April 15, 1996.
