         (Action on amendment S-5489 and House File 2449 was deferred.)

         The Senate stood at ease at 10:49 a.m. until the fall of the gavel
    for the purpose of a party caucus.

         The Senate resumed session at 11:28 a.m., President Boswell
    presiding .



                              IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that House Files
    2370, 2202, 2318 and 2207 be immediately messaged to the House.



                                     RECESS

         On motion of Senator Horn, the Senate recessed at 11:31 a.m., until
    2:30 p.m.
