         Pursuant to Senate Rule 59, the committee on Agriculture assigned
    to investigate the following governors appointments, completed its
    investigations on March 21, 1996, and recommended the appointees be
    confirmed:

         Steven A. Basler, Sonja L. Larsen and Diana L. Stadtmueller as
    members of the Agricultural Development Authority.

         Marie G. Ellingson and Carolyn A. Roberts as members of the Iowa
    Grain Indemnity Fund Board.

         Russell L. Brandes as a member of the State Soil Conservation
    Committee.

                               BUSINESS AND LABOR

         Harrison Weber as a member of the Employment Appeal Board.

         M. Sue Warner as a member of the Public Employment Relations Board.
