CONSIDERATION OF BILL (Regular Calendar) Senate File 2433 On motion of Senator Dearden, Senate File 2433, a bill for an act relating to workers compensation concerning medical services fee disputes, providing a stay of debt collection against an employer in workers compensation contested cases, and relating to disputes subject to settlement under workers compensation, was taken up for consideration. Senator Iverson offered amendment S-5453 filed by him on March 20, 1996, to page 2 and the title page of the bill and moved its adoption. A non record roll call was requested. Rule 23, requiring all Senators present to vote except those who express a conflict of interest, was invoked. The ayes were 21, nays 25. Amendment S-5453 lost. Senator Dearden moved that the bill be read the last time now and placed upon its passage, which motion prevailed by a voice vote, and the bill was read the last time.
