    Final Bill Action: SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 112, a concurrent
    resolution supporting the 185th Fighter Wing of the Air National Guard
    of Iowa in its peacekeeping patrols in the United Nations No-Fly Zone
    over Iraq.

    Recommendation: DO PASS.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 9: Horn, Boswell, Rife, Bisignano, Gettings, Gronstal,
    Husak, Kramer and Lind. Nays, none.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

    ALSO:

    Final Bill Action: HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 111, a concurrent
    resolution supporting Iowa military personnel in the Bosnian
    peacekeeping mission.

    Recommendation: AMEND AND DO PASS AS PROVIDED IN AMENDMENT S-5446.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 9: Horn, Boswell, Rife, Bisignano, Gettings, Gronstal,
    Husak, Kramer and Lind. Nays, none.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.



    WAYS AND MEANS

    Final Bill Action: *SENATE FILE 2451 (formerly Senate File 2166), a bill
    for an act providing that member contributions under certain public
    retirement systems are considered employer contributions for state
    income tax pruposes, and providing applicability and effective date
    provisions.

    Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE BILL.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 13: Palmer, Husak, Bennett, Connolly, Deluhery, Drake,
    Freeman, Iverson, McLaren, Murphy, Neuhauser, Priebe and Vilsack. Nays,
    1: Hedge. Absent or not voting, 1: Szymoniak.

    Fiscal Note: REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.

         *Pursuant to Senate Rule 40, the Legislative Service Bureau
    reported nonsubstantive changes to the members of the Ways and Means
    Committee on Senate File 2451 and they were attached to the committee
    report.
