    Final Bill Action: SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION 115 (SSB 2341), a
    concurrent resolution requesting that Iowas congressional delegation
    support guaranteed state legislative involvement in the reorganization,
    implementation, and funding of federal workforce development and job
    training programs in the states.

    Recommendation: APPROVED COMMITTEE RESOLUTION.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 12: Hansen, Judge, Zieman, Bennett, Boettger, Borlaug,
    Flynn, Giannetto, Kibbie,  Sorensen, Szymoniak and Vilsack. Nays, none.
    Absent or not voting, 3: Maddox, McKean and Palmer.

    Fiscal Note: NOT REQUIRED UNDER JOINT RULE 17.



    WAYS AND MEANS

    Final Bill Action: SENATE FILE 2426, a bill for  an act prohibiting
    vehicle registration in certain circumstances, imposing additional
    criminal fees, and relating to delinquent payments, installment
    payments, and collections of unpaid fines, penalties, court costs, fees,
    surcharges, and restitution.

    Recommendation: DO PASS.

    Final Vote: Ayes, 13: Palmer, Husak, Bennett, Connolly, Deluhery, Drake,
    Freeman, Hedge, Iverson, McLaren, Neuhauser, Priebe and Vilsack. Nays,
    none. Absent or not voting, 2: Murphy and Szymoniak.
