         The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared to
    have passed the Senate and the title as amended was agreed to.



                             ADOPTION OF RESOLUTION

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent to take up for
    consideration Senate Resolution 106.

    Senate Resolution 106

         On motion of Senator Horn, Senate Resolution 106, a senate
    resolution of congratulations and support for the Iowa State Cyclones
    Mens Basketball Team and the Iowa Hawkeyes Womens and Mens Basketball
    Teams, was taken up for consideration.

         Senator Horn moved the adoption of Senate Resolution 106, which
    motion prevailed by a voice vote.



                              IMMEDIATELY MESSAGED

         Senator Horn asked and received unanimous consent that Senate Files
    2448 and 2419 and House File 2247 be immediately messaged to the House.



                             HOUSE MESSAGE RECEIVED

         The following message was received from the Chief Clerk of the
    House:

         MR. PRESIDENT: I am directed to inform your honorable body that the
    House has on March 14, 1996, adopted the conference committee report and
    passed Senate File 13, a bill for an act relating to the establishment
    of a decision-making process for prospective minor parents, providing
    penalties, and providing effective dates.



                           INTRODUCTION OF RESOLUTION

         Senate Concurrent Resolution 115, by committee on Small Business,
    Economic Development, and Tourism, a concurrent resolution requesting
    that Iowas congressional delegation support guaranteed state legislative
    involvement in the reorganization, implementation, and funding of
    federal workforce development and job training programs in the states.
