The bill having received a constitutional majority was declared
to have passed the House and the title was agreed to.
IMMEDIATE MESSAGE
Gipp of Winneshiek asked and received unanimous consent that
House File 2314 be immediately messaged to the Senate.

ADOPTION OF HOUSE RESOLUTION 104
Churchill of Polk called up for consideration House Resolution
104, a resolution urging the United States government to
reassess its policy relating to the dispute between the People's
Republic of China (mainland communist China) and the Republic of
China (ROC) on Taiwan and moved  its adoption.
The motion prevailed and the resolution was adopted.
The House stood at ease at 10:39 a.m., until the fall of the
gavel.
The House resumed session at 11:00 a.m., Speaker pro tempore Van
Maanen of Marion in the chair.
COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE
Gipp of Winneshiek asked and received unanimous consent to
suspend House Rules 63 and 65, relating to the committee of the
whole.
