                     CONFIRMATION OF GOVERNORS APPOINTMENTS

                       (Individual Confirmation Calendar)

         Senator Lind called up the reappointment of Richard Canella as a
    member of the State Racing and Gaming Commission, placed on the
    Individual Confirmation Calendar on March 29, 1995, without
    recommendation, and found on page 963 of the Senate Journal.



                                LEAVES OF ABSENCE

         Leaves of absence were granted as follows:

         Senators Jensen and McLaren until they return on request of Senator
    Rife.

         Senator Lind moved that the foregoing appointment be confirmed by
    the Senate.

         On the question Shall the appointee be confirmed? the vote was:
