The appointee having received a two-thirds vote was declared to
have been confirmed by the Senate.
Senator Hansen called up the appointment of David J. Lyons as
Director of the Department of Economic Development, placed on the
Individual Confirmation Calendar on February 22, 1995, and found on page
426 of the Senate Journal.
The Senate stood at ease at 4:30 p.m. until the fall of the gavel
for the purpose of a party caucus.
The Senate resumed session at 5:25 p.m., President Boswell
presiding.
Senator Hansen moved that the appointment of David J. Lyons as
Director of the Department of Economic Development be confirmed by the
Senate.
