Former Cherokee County Veteran Affairs commissioner. Past president of Cherokee County Pork Producers. Former Marcus-Meriden-Cleghorn School Board member. Current member of Iowa Farm Bureau, Iowa Corn Growers, and Cherokee County Republican Central Committee.

Born in 1951 in Cherokee. Resides on a farm in Cherokee County.

Wife, Deb; two sons, and 10 grandchildren.
