Born about 1829. In November 1856, he married Miss Elmira Cox and two years after their marriage they came to Washington to live, and for several years they were both prominently identified with the growth of the community. Mr. Quinn was a merchant, his store being located on the corner now occupied by the William Blair store. On June 30, 1863, Mr. Quinn died, leaving surviving him his wife and one son, W. M. Quinn, two of their children having died in infancy.
