Member of Midwestern Legislative Conference (MLC) Executive Committee. Participant in the National Security Seminar at U.S. Army War College in 2017, the Darden Institute at the University of Virginia in 2010, the Toll Fellow program in 2006, and the Bowhay Institute for Legislative Leadership Development (BILLD) in 2004.
