Palo Alto County Soil and Water Conservation District Commissioner and Regional Commissioner, 1994. Member of Cattlemen's Association, Federated Women's Club, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Soybean Producers Association, Farm Bureau, Emmetsburg Chamber of Commerce, Emmetsburg Education Association, PACK Reading Council, Iowa Reading Association, International Reading Association, Phi Delta Kappa, and Methodist Church. Husband William; one son, three daughters, and eleven grandchildren. Serving fourth term in House.
