County supervisor and former teacher. Resides in Eldora. Graduated from Eldora High School. Earned B.A. (Spanish and teaching) from the University of Iowa and M.A. from the University of Northern Iowa. Past chair of County Central Committee and Empowerment Area. Chair of Greenbelt Home Care and Central Iowa Juvenile Detention Center. Member of Republican Women, Substance Abuse, Board of Health, Second Judicial Board, Heartland Risk Insurance Board, Lions, Farm Bureau, and the Lutheran Church. Husband David; two daughters, one son, and five grandchildren. Serving first term in House.
