Member of Cedar Rapids Rotary, First Lutheran Church, Iowa State Bar Association, Reserve Officers Association, American Legion, Salvation Army Advisory Board, Judge Advocate Generals Corps., and chairman of the Republican Party of Iowa. Wife Jennifer. Served five terms in House. Serving first term in Senate.
