JOHN P. "JACK" KIBBIE a farmer and cattle feeder, Born and raised in Palo Alto County. Resides in Emmetsburg. Graduated from Ayrshire High School. Iowa Lakes Community College hoard member for 17 years and president of Iowa Lakes Community College Board of Directors for 10 years. Member of American Legion, V.F.W., and various commodity and farm organizations. Served as a tank commander in the US. Army during Korean War and received a Bronze Star. Wife Kay; two sons and four daughters. Served in House from1961-64 and Senate from 1965-68. Now serving fifth term in Senate.
