Government and economics teacher at Montezuma High School, 1975-78. Delegate to the White House Conference on Libraries, 1979. Commissioner of the Education Commission of the States. 1984 - President of Iowans for Better Libraries, 1983 - Public Sector Analyst for Sperry Computer Corporation. Married Ginger Van Hoever; children, Holly, Jeb, and Bristen. Second term.
