Former president, League of Women Voters of Iowa; served on the Iowa 2000 Planning Committee, Governor's Task Force on Governmental Ethics, Iowa City Library Board, Vestry of Trinity Episcopal Church. Member: Civil Liberties Union, Iowa Association of Railroad Passengers, Advisory Committee for Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation, League of Women Voters, National Organization for Women, United Nations Association.
