Three sons, two daughters. Health planner and registered nurse. Currently serving on Iowa PTA Board as health and safety chair; Iowa League for Nursing Board; Dallas County Democratic Central Committee. Past member and president of Waukee Community School Board. Member of American Nurses Association; League of Women Voters; Iowa Women's Political Caucus; National Organization for Women; First Christian Church. Cattle owner. Served on advisory committees to the Iowa Board of Nursing, departments of Public Instruction and Health. First term.
