Born in Washington, D.C., October 14, 1929, daughter of Lucille Thurston and John Emerson Hall. Attended public schools in Carrizozo and Albuquerque, N.M. B.S., Northwestern University, 1951. M.A., University of Iowa, 1971. Married Richard Lloyd-Jones, 1951. One daughter and three sons. President, League of Women Voters of Iowa, 1971-75; member, Iowa 2000 State Planning Committee, 1972-74; chair, Iowa Committee for International Women's Year, 1977; member, Governor's Task Force on Governmental Ethics, 1977. Member: Trinity Episcopal Church, Business and Professional Women, Civil Liberties Union, Common Cause, League of Women Voters, National Organization for Women, The Nature Conservancy, U.N. Association and Women's Political Caucus. Third term.
