B.A. Drury College in 1969, majoring in history and political science. General insurance agent with Ed S. Lofton & Sons Agency, Keokuk. Member of First Congregational Church of Keokuk, Keokuk Kiwanis Club, Keokuk Chamber of Commerce, Iowa Association of Independent Insurance Agents, and the Iowa Farm Bureau. Active for many years in Experiment in International Living. Serving first term.
