D. with distinction, 1958, State University of Iowa. Served as Assistant Pottawattamie County Attorney, Assistant Attorney General, State of Iowa, and Pottawattamie County Attorney. Served as Lieutenant in the Army Infantry during the Korean conflict. First term.
