Davenport Scott County Democrat. Born in Davenport, Oct. 7, 1942. Son of William L. and Ellen J. Gluba. Graduated from Assumption High School 1960. B.A. degree in political science, St. Ambrose College. Post graduate work in state and local government at the University of Iowa 19 65-67. Married Patricia Keefe of Silvis, 111., 1965. Three children: Deborah Marie, Matthew Evan and John Paul. Volunteer member on Board of Directors Scott County Commission on Aging. Candidate for Mayor Davenport 1969. In "Who's Who in American Politics." Member Izaak Walton League, Americans for Democratic Action, Jaycees, ACLU, K. of C.'s, IDC, and the American Academy of Political and Social Science. Former member Labor Unions AFL-CIO and United Auto Workers. Admissions Counselor at Marycrest College. First term.
