Graduated Dowling High School. Received B.A. degree Drake University 1960. Married Carolyn Pritchard 1958. Two sons and two daughters. South Des Moines businessman. Operates Airport Driving Range and Miniature Golf, 5101 Fleur Drive. Member Christ the King Catholic Church, Dowling Club, Izaak Walton League. First term in Iowa House.
