Attended Thornton public school. Married Mary Madden September 8, 1951. Three children: Christopher, 12; Stephanie, 10; Regina, 7. Farmer, securities salesman, and past fertilizer dealer and salesman. Served in Air Force April, 1945, to November, 1946. Member of Farmers Union. Catholic, member of St. Lawrence Church, Swaledale. First term.
