B.A. and M.A. degrees, University of Iowa. Additional graduate work, teachers college, Columbia University. Served in U.S. Army, Married Nelda E. Stender in 1959. Public school administrator. Member of St. John's Methodist Church, Davenport. Member of Izaak Walton, Iowa State Education Association and National Education Association. Committeeman, Scott County Democratic Central Committee and cochairman Scott County Citizens Against the Shaff Plan.
