Beaconsfield Ringgold County Democrat. Born May 7, 1932, in Ellston, Iowa, son of George and Lena Anderson. Graduated from Ellston High School in 1949. Attended American Institute of Business in Des Moines. In 1957 married Rita Hewlett of Grand River, Iowa. Owns and operates a 480-acre farm, a building construction business, and is engaged in other business enterprises. Served two years in the army. A member of Reorganized Latter Day Saints Church, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Farm Bureau. Serving first term.
