James C. Ramsey
Wapello County
Born in the State of Pennsylvania in the year 1818. At an early age he migrated with his father to Henry county, Indiana, where he continued to reside until about the year 1844 or 1845, when he removed to Wapello county in this State. Most of the time since he has resided in that county, and the confidence reposed in his capacity and integrity by his neighbors and friends is attested by the fact, that he has represented the people of that county in both branches of the General Assembly of this State, 1852, 1854, and 1856.
