They have one daughter, Mrs. Collette Jurgenson of Marshalltown, Iowa. Owned and operated a jewelry store in Fort Madison for 33 years. Retired in 1955. Served on Fort Madison school board for nine years, two years as president. Past president of the Lions Club and twice president of the Retail Merchants Bureau of Fort Madison. World War I veteran and a life member of the Disabled American Veterans. A member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Hobbies are golf and travel. Served in 57th General Assembly. Now serving second term.
