Bedford Taylor County Democrat. Born July 31, 1892, in Taylor County. Has been a resident in this county for his entire life. Educated in Taylor County public schools. Married Esta Hutchinson of New Market, Iowa in 1924. Father of two daughters, one living, Mrs. Jeanne Park of Cleveland, Ohio, and one deceased. Has two grandsons. Served in World War I two years, 13 months overseas. Saw action in three major engagements. Served 10 years as deputy and sheriff of Taylor County. Member of Baptist Church, American Legion, Masonic and I.O.O.F. lodges. Has been in auction business since 1910. Serving third term.
