Lamoni, Decatur County Democrat Born at Mt. Ayr, Iowa, on November 3, 1916. Graduated from Mt. Ayr high school in 1934. Married to Louise Burchett in 1937. Father of two children, Nancy, a freshman in Northwest Missouri State College, and Stewart, sixth grade student in Lamoni public school. Owns and operates a 240 acre farm in Bloomington township, Decatur county. Has served on A.A.A. and A.S.C. committee work. Has served on local school board and was chairman of rural county heart fund. Member of the Baptist church, and National Farm Union. Serving second term.
