Kelley Boone County Democrat Born in Dallas county, June 11, 1920. Moved to Boone county in 1930. Attended Napier consolidated schools and graduated from Iowa State College in Agricultural Economics in 1943, Served two years in the army and air force during World War II. Married Ruth Todman of Mankato, Minnesota, May 14, 1944, and is the father of four children, John, 10; Barbara, 8; Bruce, 7, and Todd, 5. Operates a 240 acre farm and a seed corn business in Boone county, near Kelley. Member of the Collegiate Methodist church in Ames, the American Legion, and the Boone county extension council. Serving second term.
