Aurelia Cherokee County Republican Born May 31, 1909, at Aurelia, Iowa. Graduated from Aurelia high school, 1926. Attended State University of Iowa. Was graduated from Iowa State College, B.S. in mechanical engineering, 1934. Married Katherine Bierden, 1933. Has three sons, William G., 21; Thomas M., 18; and Robert C., nine. Employed at Dodge manufacturing corporation, Mishawaka, Indiana, until 1938. Owned and operated county grain elevators in Dysart, Iowa, and Aurelia, Iowa, from 1938 until 1951. Served on city council in Dysart, and school board and city council in Aurelia. Member of Masonic lodge, Consistory and Shrine. Congregational church. Serving third term.
