MR. SPEAKER: Your committee, appointed to prepare a suitable resolution commemorating the life, character, and public service of the late Honorable Ralph C. Keho, begs leave to submit the following memorial:

Ralph C. Keho, farmer, livestock feeder, and legislator, was born on a afrm west of Allerton, Iowa, in Wayne county, on January 13, 1896, and passed away on July 8, 1958.

The son of James and Ella Keho, he grew up in the cattle and livestock feeding business with his father, and spent all his life on a Wayne county farm, with the exception of two years which were spent in Phoenix, Arizona.

He was united in marriage with Elma Williams in 1929, into which union two sons were born.

Mr. Keho was a member of the American Legion Post at Allerton, Iowa; had been a rural school director; served as an AAA committeeman for six years, and as a township trustee for many years. He had been a director of the Security State Bank at Allerton, Iowa since 1948.

A Democrat, he served in the Fifty-seventh session of the General Assembly as State Representative from Wayne county.

Mr. Keho had a coronary attack on June 8, 1958, and passed away one month later on July 8, 1958 at the age of sixty-two.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Elma Keho; two sons, Jack and Tom; a daughter-in-law, Lois; and one grandson, James Patrick.

Therefore, Be It Resolved by the House of Representatives of the Fifty-eighth General Assembly of Iowa: That in the passing of the Honorable Ralph C. Keho, the state has lost an honored citizen and a faithful and useful public servant, and the House, by this resolution, would express its sympathy to his wife and sons, and the members of his family.

Be It Further Resolved: That a copy of this resolution be spread upon the Journal of the House, and that the Chief Clerk be directed to forward an enrolled copy to the family of the deceased.
