Carroll Carroll County Democrat Born on a farm near Carroll in 1895, lived in the same vicinity all his life except the time spent in the armed forces in World War I. Married and has a family of eight children; owns the farm he lives on near Carroll. Active in community affairs and the Farm Program from its beginning; served on the county Agriculture Stabilization Conservation committee for seven years and was chairman, which post he resigned to become candidate for State Representative. Member of the American Legion and Knights of Columbus; past president of the Carroll county Farm Bureau; secretary of the Mt. Carmel Mutual Insurance association since 1931. Now serving first term.
