Business manager of labor organizations in Dubuque, and engaged in insurance business. Served three consecutive terms as president of the Dubuque Trades and Labor Congress. Active in the credit union movement. Presently secretary treasurer of Battery Workers credit union and a director of Holy Ghost credit union. Active in civic affairs including six consecutive years as executive committee member of the Dubuque community chest. A member of Knights of Columbus, Catholic Order of Forresters, Eagles lodge. Married to former Bernice Kranich. Serving first term.
